Asynt offer PTFE components for lab reactor systems

They are robust and combine chemical inertness and non-scratch surfaces

Asynt's new PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) components include lids, stirrers, stirrer guides, temperature probe holders and clamps for the firm's own and other brands of controlled lab reactors.

The Isleham, Cambridgeshire, UK-based firm says PTFE offers many unique properties that make it the ultimate high performance material for the construction of laboratory apparatus and equipment.

Asynt PTFE reactor components are robust – reducing the risk of accidental damage from dropping or impacts compared with standard glass components.

In fumehood applications where vertical headspace may be limited Asynt PFTE reactor lids have a low profile, which can be beneficial.

Combining chemical inertness and non-scratch surfaces, Asynt PTFE chemical components are designed also to reduce contamination and simplify cleaning.
