Showcases range of vacuum pumps for R and D and high energy physics market

Edwards Group, a leading manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products and abatement systems and a global provider of related value-added services, is attending Vacuum Expo at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, UK, 16 - 17 October 2013.

Edwards has a range of solutions for the R&D and high energy physics markets that includes oil-sealed rotary vacuum pumps, oil free dry scroll vacuum pumps, turbomolecular pumps and pumping systems and ion pumps. All the pumps are supported by a range of accessories to deliver the optimum solution for the application. Edwards also provides several measuring and control instruments, valves and fittings to support the vacuum needs of the R&D laboratory.

Visitors to booth V19 will be able to see a selection of pumps suitable for the High Energy Physics and R&D markets, including an operational nXDS15i dry scroll pump.

Edwards has recently acquired Gamma Vacuum, a manufacturer of ultra-high vacuum (UHV) pumps, with a very strong reputation for ion and titanium sublimation pumps. Edwards now offers the complete range of dry pumps from UHV through to atmospheric pumping. There will be a Titan Ion Pump and DIGITEL controller available on the exhibition booth.

Apart from the products on display at the booth, Edwards also has a number of vacuum pumps suitable for industrial applications, including oil-sealed pumps and industrial dry pumps. For further information about industrial applications or vacuum solutions visitors will be able to speak to Edwards’ experts on the booth.

'We are delighted to be at this event, demonstrating our applications expertise and technology leadership,' said Dr Stephan Becker, Vice President-Sales, General Vacuum at Edwards. 'At Edwards, we tackle varied and demanding process problems, and with our world-class experts deliver state-of-the-art solutions that work, and continue to work, for our customers.'
