ASM Research Chemicals is a pioneer in the synthesis of PNA Monomers (Peptide Nucleic Acid Monomers) and provides contract manufacturing services for R&D-scale synthesis of complex organic molecules and impurities. Our product range includes building blocks and derivatives, compounds for screening, impurities and decomposition products as well as compounds for performance materials and electronics.


ASM Research Chemicals operates a 600 m2 laboratory in the Medical Park Hannover with an experienced and highly trained team of PhD organic chemists and lab technicians.

During the last 10 years we have successfully completed more than 600 projects in the area of synthetic organic chemistry. Our customers range from global players in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industry to mid-size biotech companies and universities.

Laboratory Scale Custom Manufacturing

Manufacturing of lab quantities of organic compounds starting from laboratory protocols.


Our laboratory is state-of-the-art equipped for synthesis and purification of organic compounds from milligram to kilo scale. We can provide microwave assisted synthesis and are capable of running high-pressure reactions.

In-house analytical instrumentation includes standard chromatography techniques like GC, GC/MS, HPLC, LC/MS as well as UV/Vis and NMR-spectroscopy.

Other specialised techniques are available through cooperation with institutes at the Leibniz University Hannover and the Fraunhofer ITEM.
