It enables sampling heads for standard Petri dishes to be installed at critical control points

MBV, a Swiss manufacturer of microbial air sampler systems, introduced upgraded monitoring system for air monitoring in isolators and RABS at the ICCCS 2012 Zurich event.

The MAS-100 ISO NT is used to control microbiological contamination of the air in sterile production areas and isolators, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry.

A unique security concept permits the installation of the sampling heads for standard 90-100mm Petri dishes at the critical control points. All electronic and moving parts are outside the critical zone.

The device has an additional internal pump with flow control for automatic sterilisation of the sampling head and the aspiration tube.

The whole system is built according to GAMP 4 and corresponds to the ISO 14698 Norm. It is a completely validated system designed for the highest demands.

Compact design, easy handling and installation are the advantages of this system. More safety features have been built in including easy programming with software or directly on instrument and communication using RS232, USB, SPS, Profi-Bus or Ethernet, etc.

Other products in the company's range include the MAS-100 Eco an economical air sampler especially made to control the air in the food and beverage industries or similar applications.
