All-in-one sachet packaging, sealing and cartoning
Sigpack offers a vertical flat pouch system for the primary and secondary packaging of powders and granulates
The compact layout of the RNx requires minimal space, leading to a smaller footprint for reduced operating costs. With an output of up to 1,000 sachets/min, the system efficiently delivers high-quality pouches. The system is customised to individual requirements and offers flexibility for a range of free-flowing substances, pouch sizes and carton formats.
Capable of handling the entire dosing and packaging process while meeting pharmaceutical industry standards, the RNx ensures product quality through gentle handling. With its dosing module, the RNx offers the options of auger fillers for difficult flowing powders and granulates, or a tipping filler for free-flowing goods. An integrated weight control system (WCS) ensures 100% inline weight control, and faulty products are automatically ejected via a dump gate to ensure high product quality. Tight and reliable pouch seals are created in the sealing module.
Grippers in the stacking unit accurately position the sealed pouches, ready for secondary packaging. With the options of side loading, toploading or flow wrapping, the cartoning section packs single or double stacks of sachets intermittently at an output of up to 100 cartons/min.
Optional modules include leaflet insertion, carton coding, carton rejection and an after-cartoning checkweigher.
Sigpack says the system is easy to operate via touchscreen and provides clear depiction of product flow and processes.
‘With flexibility and a modular design, the RNx is a highly efficient system for products as varied as pain relievers and blood thinners. With its combination of reliability, quality and speed, it is the latest generation of vertical flat pouch machines,’ said Holger Botsch, product manager at Sigpack Systems.
