CI Electronics says the machine achieves an improved accuracy of +/-0.5mg and is able to process tablets and capsules without any need for change parts and only minimal manual adjustments.

A new feed and sort mechanism ensures precision handling and consistent accuracy, enabling sorting rates of 35-45 tablets per minute.

The instrument can output reports to a local printer connected via a USB cable. Alternatively, the SP Connect software package enables secure PDF reports to be transferred to a PC, as well as weight data to Excel-compatible spreadsheet files. There is also an option for printing across a network.

The company says cleaning is quick and easy thanks to the design and use of stainless steel for contact parts.

Other features of the SADE SP-B10 include an integral removable draught shield, a product and method library and multi-level access control. It has also been designed in accordance with GMP standards and is supported by comprehensive validation documentation and a full installation and maintenance service.
