The GFD is available in three sizes with filtration areas of 0.005m2, 0.01m2 and 0.05m2, to meet a wide range of laboratory needs.
The GFD is jacketed, allowing the researcher to obtain valuable information on how a process will actually work in production early on in the development stage. Problems can be identified and solved before scale-up and data relating to the safety of a process can be obtained, enabling a company to reduce development times and get products to market faster.
The GFD works on a vacuum and has a heated jacket for drying and a removable filtration basket to collect the product. This ensures easy recovery of dried product at maximum yield, with the added advantages of batch homogeneity and easy cleaning.
