Optimal appoints Sales Account Manager for South-East and Scotland

Kevin Lynch brings PAT and business development experience to UK firm

As part of its growth and investment programme, process industry systems integration specialist Optimal Industrial Automation has taken on a new Sales Account Manager to cover South-East England and Scotland.

Kevin Lynch brings to the company many years of experience in the life science, pharmaceutical, chemical and food and beverage industries, dealing with Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and business development. He will be based near Gatwick airport (hence the coverage of Scotland) and will be responsible for general automation solutions as well as PAT software products and integration work.

‘My career for many years has been based within key market sectors for ABB and with Optimal I have a great opportunity to develop my skills further,’ said Lynch. ‘I am expecting to bring some of my own experience and knowledge of the industry to Optimal’s clients, both new and existing.’

Optimal’s Director, Martin Gadsby, added: ‘Kevin's experience and enthusiasm make him a valuable addition to the team, and he will help us to further improve the depth and quality of our relationships with customers in the South-East of the country and Scotland.’
