Recipharm and CTC Clinical Trial form new Phase I pact

Aiming to shorten project time lines


Recipharm Pharmaceutical Development, based in Solna, Stockholm, has entered into a collaboration with Uppsala-based CTC Clinical Trial Consultants to offer a complete set of packages for Phase I studies including development and manufacture of clinical trial material. The partnership will cover planning, performing and evaluation of the clinical trial.

Maria Lundberg, General Manager, Recipharm Pharmaceutical Development, said the two companies would be able to offer customers faster and more cost-effective Phase I studies.

Bengt Dahlström, CEO of CTC Clinical Trial, added: 'This systematic integrated approach will help our clients to shorten project time-lines and at the same time obtain more information on the desirable properties of the drug formulation.'
