Job Title: Reconciliation and Destruction Coordinator

Reporting to: Associate Director, Clinical Operations (overall);Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader (daily report)

General Purpose of Role:
- Responsible for managing returns, reconciliation and destruction of product, stock accuracy and cycle counting.
- Supporting Warehouse in receipt and despatch functions.
Main Responsibilities:
Managing product return service including:
- Receipt of returned product in accordance with KPI timelines.
- Reconciliation of returned stock.
- Coordinate destruction of reconciled material.
- Manage hazardous waste account with supplier and ordering of required material.
- Support other PCI sites in the provision of returns, reconciliation and/or destruction support.
- As required, liaise with courier companies to manage return shipments.
- Manage reconciliation and destruction spreadsheets ensuring data accuracy.
- Perform warehouse operations including the picking of product, goods inward and despatch including all supporting paperwork as per company procedures.
- Completion of all duties under warehouse ownership, such being cleanliness, control of pack conditioning, generator tests, consumable orders etc.
- Read and record temperature monitors on receipt and communicate to relevant parties.
- Document any changes to controlled areas by the log book system.
- Assist with the maintenance of equipment.
- Support relevant procedures and updates as required.
- To agree and work towards achievement of personal development goals.
- Where required, undertake tasks and projects outside the job holder’s area of responsibility.
Outcomes of Role:
- Reconciliation and/or destruction of stock performed within agreed timelines with clients.
- Shipments are received and booked in within a timely manner.
- Despatched products accurately and on time.
- Be proactive in any communications.
- All shipping materials are available when required.
Specific Qualifications:
- Maths and English Language in GCSEs or equivalent is essential.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel is desirable.
- Forklift truck licence is desirable.
Previous Work Experience:
- Experience working within a similar field is desirable.
Specific Knowledge / Skills Competence:
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of staff, suppliers and customers.
- Experience in the clinical supply field.
- Excellent people management skill.

- IT literate with good knowledge of Sage, excel, word and internet functionality.

- Experience in the clinical supply field, preferably in a contract environment.
- Understanding of Quality Standards including GMP, GCP and GDP. Familiar with concepts of risk management.
