Almac\'s STEMS equips clinical supply professionals with all crucial shipment temperature reports.

Almac Clinical Services has launched a web-based Shipping Temperature Electronic Monitoring System (STEMS) for pharmaceutical and biotech professionals.

Almac's STEMS equips clinical supply professionals with all crucial shipment temperature reports. It reduces any quarantine time for clinical supplies at study sites, saving both time and money for a global clinical study.

Key features of STEMS are 100% shipping temperature reports and instant reporting, enabling near zero quarantine time. It is also a fully validated system and compliant with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. No return shipments are required for devices, which also saves time and reduces costs.

Almac says STEMS is compatible with a range of browsers and requires little training. Automated email notifications are sent to predefined users and a multiple alarm system is programmed to match drug temperature requirements.

This latest launch coincides with Almac's new Label Approval System (LAS), which is a workflow-based label approval management system.

LAS gives users full online review, amendment, traceability and control functionality regardless of geographic location.
