Packaging Innovations takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on 25 and 26 February 2015
Innovative ideas for primary and secondary packaging, anti-counterfeiting and the latest track-and-trace solutions will be on display at the UK’s biggest packaging event, taking place at Birmingham’s NEC on 25 and 26 February 2015.
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Packaging Innovations, with dedicated Ecopack and Contract Pack areas, and co-located with Empack and Label&Print, will showcase more than 350 exhibitors specialising in all aspects of packaging from materials and design, to machinery, new technologies and equipment.
The show has received a strong representation within the pharmaceutical market, with companies such as Chester Medical Solutions, Global Closure Systems, Selectpackaging, Quadpack UK, Sudpack UK, PET Power, Iggesund Paperboard, Gabriel-Chemie Group and Chesapeake Pharmaceutical and Healthcare set to present their latest innovations and technologies.
Bluesky Solutions will be using the show to display its latest ranges of plastic and aluminum bottles, jars, closures and accessories. Promens is showcasing Slidissime, a tactile ‘touch & slide’ pump with revolutionary airless technology.
Measom Freer will be exhibiting its new Swithland bottle range. Distinctive plastic bottles, which are conical and cylindrical in shape, versatile in material, size and colour, provide great shelf presence for a wide range of product sectors.
Future Pak will be launching its ‘Hot Fill PET’ for thermoforming, which enables material to be filled with liquid or solids at up to 95ºC, perfect for medical purposes.
First time exhibitor Bech Packaging, which specialises in the production and development of plastic packaging for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, will be displaying its full range of bottles and pharma containers.
New to 2015 is the Pharmaceutical Symposium, providing organisations with the opportunity to gain inspiration and a greater understanding of how to tackle the key issues within packaging, labelling, coding and marketing for pharmaceutical products.
