Thermal fluid specialist releases range of high temperature thermal fluids

Thermal fluid specialist, Global Heat Transfer, has released four new Globaltherm products, which have been specifically designed for use in high temperature applications in pharmaceutical and plastic processing sectors

Globaltherm L, N, S and C operate at the temperature ranges typically found in pharmaceutical and plastic processing applications. The non-corrosive fluids are custom-made for use in processes requiring stable media, working at higher temperatures for prolonged periods without premature degradation of the fluid.

The Globaltherm products possess a range of qualities to function efficiently for different purposes within pharmaceutical and plastic manufacturing to best suit plant managers. Each media performs best at different temperatures. Globaltherm S, for example, has the highest boiling point of the fluids in the new product range 385–395 °C.

Each fluid operates efficiently in different environments to optimise different processes in production. Globaltherm L, N and C operate in both liquid and vapour form in a heat transfer system. This allows plant managers to use the same media for different processes to efficiently produce pharmaceuticals and plastics.

Clive Jones, Marketing Director at Global Heat Transfer, said: “With over 25 years of experience we know that different applications require certain properties from heat transfer fluids. Our heat transfer fluid is custom designed to best meet the specifications of manufacturers using heat transfer systems across different sectors. The new Globaltherm range, for example, offers high performance thermal fluid for pharmaceutical and plastic processing plants that use both open and closed loop heat transfer systems.”

As the market leader in heat transfer fluid management, the Global Heat Transfer technical business team works closely with customers to specify the correct fluid for each process application. To ensure optimal product yield Global Heat Transfer provides thermal fluid management from sampling and monitoring to engineering support, helping customers work safely and efficiently with thermal fluids.
