Offers the benefits of increased sample throughput without having to invest in a robotic liquid handling system
Integra Viaflo 384 handheld electronic pipette
The Integra Viaflo 384 is a new handheld 384-channel electronic pipette that enables fast, precise and easy transfer of 384 samples simultaneously.
The Swiss supplier says the Viaflo 384 offers all the benefits of increased sample throughput as well as lower sample and reagent use without the expense of having to invest in a robotic liquid handling system.
The compact product is supplied with a choice of two 384-channel pipetting heads covering volume ranges of 0.5–12.5µl and 5–125µl. It is compatible with Viaflo 96-channel pipetting heads enabling easy switching between 96-channel and 384-channel pipetting using the same unit.
The Viaflo 384 is used just like a standard handheld pipette, which means no special skills or training are required to operate it. It features the company's Touch Wheel pipette user interface enabling simple and fast programming of a wide range of pipetting modes including repeat dispense, serial dilute and mixing routines.
The product comes with 10 pre-defined pipetting modes enabling the system to be used productively almost immediately. A further 20 user-designated custom programmes allow even the most diverse and complex pipetting operations.
