CertiRx and IN2trace link up to combat counterfeits in the pharma supply chain
CertiRx will integrate its TraxSecur mark into IN2Trace's CureCloud serialisation software
CertiRx has formed a partnership with Croatian serialisation solutions supplier IN2trace to deliver effective tools to fight against counterfeit pharmaceuticals.
The firms will offer CertiRx's TraxSecur Serialized Security as an integrated component of IN2trace's serialisation software.
The IN2trace serialisation framework provides and manages serialisation codes during the lifecycle of a product to meet requirements for different standards and data carriers, and integrates with customers' existing systems. The firm's main product for the pharma industry is called CureCloud.

TraxSecur is a data carrying, high-security mark that can be authenticated with a mobile phone. Adding TraxSecur to product serialisation protects against damaging copies, emulations and database hacks, the firm said.

We could see how the CureCloud serialisation framework brings compliance with existing pharmaceutical regulations worldwide. The CureCloud simplifies operations and extends the life cycle of a serialisation system,' said CertiRx President and CEO Tom Mercolino.
