Europol criticises India over fake medicines

The country is a 'priority concern' says report by EU police agency and OHIM


India's failure to prevent the manufacture and export of counterfeit medicines from its territory has been noted by a new European Union (EU) report.

Jointly written by EU police agency Europol and the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) on trademarks and designs, the report said India is a 'priority concern…through counterfeit pharmaceutical products'.
