Our client provides a comprehensive contract packing service to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. With the recent addition of importation facilities, the business now offers a full supply chain solution including importation, component sourcing, packing, release and distribution.

The company enjoys a healthy position in the home market and also significant profile in the Europe, India and the US. The company has a reputation for outstanding customer service through its flexibility and operational excellence.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the sales and marketing function throughout the organisation. Initially prime responsibilities are to develop existing accounts and attract further business.

As the envisaged growth is realised, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the sales and marketing function, selecting and building a new team to drive growth.

The Applicant

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of achievement in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets. A comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical supply chain is essential in conjunction with a process driven approach to sales. Knowledge and experience of mainland European and Indian markets would be advantageous.

It is envisaged that the individual selected will also have strong commercial acumen with experience of negotiation and maintenance of significant contracts in the target industries. The role should be recognised as one that will provide a Senior Sales Manager or Sales Director to realise the transition to senior executive responsibilities as the envisaged growth is achieved.
