Fluorination Chemistry
We have strong expertise in fluorination at all stages of a synthetic pathway – from building block synthesis to late stage fluorination and from gram to commercial scale. We handle a wide range of fluorinating agents, including SF4, HF, Xtalfluor and F2 , and can also provide expert consultation and highly efficient synthetic pathways for custom synthesis projects.
We have a long history of using our in-depth knowledge and experience of working with fluorine to produce a fully-optimised route of synthesis (often completely redesigned) with significant time and cost savings as a result. This also ensures that the fluorine moiety is introduced at the optimal point in the chemistry, which is often a critical step in any synthesis.
Extensive Product Catalogue
Our continually expanding catalogue contains a diverse range of over 26,000 fluorinated and non-fluorinated building blocks and reagents, many of which are manufactured in our own laboratories and are exclusive to us. Our catalogue is available on our website where you can search via structure, CAS and MDL and also place online orders.
We regularly launch new, innovative products often with novel and/or unusual functionality such as difluoromethyl and trifluoromethoxy groups. Our scale-up facilities in India, along with established relationships with our trusted suppliers, enable us to bring varied, competitively priced compounds to you in quantities from milligrams to tonnes.
High Pressure Chemistry
We have extensive expertise in high-pressure chemistry. Our production sites are equipped with stainless steel, Monel and Hastelloy reactors housed in purpose-built blast bays, which allow us safely to carry out hydrogenation, carbonylation and amination reactions from grams through to hundreds of kilograms.
Custom Synthesis
Custom synthesis is a key element of our service and we have an unrivalled track record in delivering challenging multi-step projects, either from a synthetic pathway supplied by you or by designing our own route.
We are a full product life-cycle company and so, when we deliver the initial research quantities, we do it via an optimised and robust route of synthesis which is suitable for commercial quantities. Our commitment to our customers is always the same: to develop a relationship for the long-term and to deliver products via the most cost-effective route.
Our approach to IP is similarly customer-focused; we never look to retain IP on custom projects and go to great lengths to keep customers’ IP secure.
cGMP Scale-Up
Commissioned in July 2011, our flagship cGMP facility in Dewas, India enables us take projects from the laboratory into the plant, allowing support for the full-product lifecycle. With vessel sizes ranging from 50 to 1500 litres and the full-range of chemistry services available, including fluorination and high-pressure chemistry, we are perfectly positioned to support your synthetic project from discovery to launch.
Further investment is ongoing at our Dewas site, with a brand new multi-ton facility expected to come online in Q1 2015, further strengthening our aim to support customers at any stage in the product cycle.
