Process Development in Practice: 3-Day Workshop
This three-day workshop will provide an in-depth and practical experience of developing a lyophilisation cycle. Classroom training with experienced scientists is combined with hands-on time in our own laboratory, using the same equipment and techniques we use in our consultancy and research work. The result is a comprehensive and practical introduction to product and process development.

Product, Process and Systems – Duration: 3 days
These comprehensive courses provide a thorough grounding in all aspects of freeze drying, from the function and operation of equipment, critical temperatures and cycle development, to post-process analysis and quality control. This course is designed specifically for those working in product and process R&D. This course delivers an up-to-date overview of the science of freeze drying and practical insights into the techniques that underpin product characterization, cycle development and formulation development strategies.
This course is suitable for those involved in all stages of freeze drying formulation and cycle development and scale-up, including researchers, technicians, formulation scientists and quality control officers.

Bespoke/On-Site Courses
Duration: Variable
Bespoke/on-site courses are ideal for those with a large training requirement, or when specific training needs exist. These courses can be held at the customer’s site, by webinar or at any other location specified. The content of these courses can be customised to requirements and to the specific situation. For example, a customer with a specific product type or process issue can tailor the course to include discussion on these topics. Time can also be allocated for consultancy with the actual product and equipment in question.

We present the topics from practice and experience – not just theory and textbooks. Our tutors are currently active in the field, with many years' practical experience. They have substantial knowledge of the challenges of operating an efficient and robust freeze drying process and the experience to trouble shoot your processing problems. The courses are regularly updated in response to feedback from course attendees, changes in cGMP and advances in processing technology. Our objective is to embed an understanding of freeze drying theory in our training courses and ground the course in real world practice.
