Herolab, a supplier of diagnostic and manufacturing products for life science research, has opened a new office in Cambridge, UK, to serve the growing number of British users and offer sales and support for a number of international dealers and customers.
This expansion coincides with the company recently being awarded a German Stifterverband seal, which is only given to organisations that demonstrate new discoveries and novel solutions. The German association collects data on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to identify particularly innovative companies. Only those that stand out by a clear margin during the survey may use the seal. Herolab met these stringent requirements and has now been awarded the seal for 2014/2015.
Herolab produces high quality products for a number of sectors in the scientific market. The company’s centrifuge division offers a range of high speed models, from universal benchtop and floor-standing models on rollers to extra-large units (up to 6 x 1000mL). A wide variety of tubes and bottles made from high quality plastics is also available and, additionally, Herolab can produce plastic labware to meet specific customer requests.
The company’s gel documentation division has a number of different models for chemiluminescence and fluorescence applications, all of which feature high quality scientific-grade CCD cameras for superb imaging results. Analysis is done using EASY Win software.
The Herolab UV products division range includes PCR workstations, UV radiation systems for crosslinking or tissue culture studies, transilluminators, germicidal lamps and UV hand/analysis lamps.
