Schreiner MediPharm\'s Belgian Vignette complies with legal requirements
On 1 July a Belgian law came into effect requiring a special tracing label (vignette) for prescription drugs. Drug manufacturers selling products on the Belgian market now have to mark each product package with specific, additional information. Each pack bears a tracing label printed with a consecutive number in both barcode and plain text form, which is checked against public health system records during the accounting process.
Schreiner MediPharm's Belgian Vignette complies with these specific legal requirements: it is covered with a scratch-proof clear varnish and is no longer usable after removal from the substrate. A special, opaque material covers the substrate for optimum legibility of the barcode.
