Marken and BioStorage Technologies form partnership in Singapore

Will provide full access to biological samples


US logistics specialist Marken and sample management solutions provider BioStorage Technologies, headquartered in Indianapolis, have formed a strategic partnership for the Singapore region.

With Marken’s GMP-compliant depot in Singapore and BioStorage Technologies’ services and expertise, the firms will offer a new service to the pharmaceutical industry in Asia. They plan to combine BioStorage Technologies’ intelligent specimen storage inventory system (ISISS), and Marken’s proprietary online tracking system, Maestro, to provide clients with full access to their biological samples at all times.

Wes Wheeler, Marken’s CEO, said: ‘Marken continues to provide creative solutions for our pharma clients and this partnership was a logical next step for our expansion in the Asia Pacific market.’
