Particles Plus has entered the contamination and controlled environments market with a new line of handheld and remote particle counters.
There are four handheld models and eight remote particle counters in the series.
The 8206 handheld particle counter measures 0.2µm to 10.0µm with a flow rate of 2.83 LPM (0.1 CFM) and can display up to six user-selectable particle size channels as well as temperature and humidity data; the 8306 measures 0.3µm to 25µm with the same flow rate as the 8206. The latter also displays up to six user-selectable particle size channels as well as temperature and humidity data.
The 8506 measures 0.5µm to 25µm as does the 8303, except this model displays only three particle size channels and optional temperature and humidity data.
The remote models include the 5201, which measures 0.2µm to 10.0µm with a flow rate of 2.83 LPM (0.1 CFM) and can display up to six particle size channels plus (optional) temperature and humidity data on its 4.3in colour touchscreen. The difference between this model and the 5301 and 5310 is that these models measure 0.3µm to 25µm.

The 5501 and 5510 measure 0.5µm to 25µm, while the 6201 measures 0.2µm to 10.0µm as well as temperature and humidity data, but also has a built-in vacuum pump and can be used as a stand-alone battery operated unit or as a real-time particle counter in continuous mode.
The 6301 and 6501 also feature a built-in vacuum pump, but the 6301 measures 0.5µm to 25µm with a flow rate of 2.83 LPM (0.1 CFM) while the 6501 measures 0.3µm to 25µm.
All Particles Plus particle counters meet ISO 21501-4 and JIS B9921 standards.
The US company will also offer rotary vane vacuum pumps and aims to establish itself as an OEM and private label supplier for other instrumentation manufacturers.
