Professor Alan Boyd elected as President of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine

He has succeeded Dr Keith Bragman

Professor Alan Boyd has succeeded Dr Keith Bragman as President of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine. He was elected to the position at the Faculty’s Annual Meeting for a three-year term of office.

Professor Boyd has been Vice-President of the Faculty from 2012–2015 and was involved in the development of Good Pharmaceutical Medical Practice. He has also been Chair of the Education Committee and Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee in Pharmaceutical Medicine for the Faculty.

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine is a professional membership organisation and standard-setting body, with 1,550 members who are practising or retired pharmaceutical physicians or those with a professional interest in the speciality.
