SP Industries acquires Bel-Art Products
Adds over 3,500 laboratory products to its portfolio
SP Industries (SP), a US designer and manufacturer of laboratory equipment, biological drug manufacturing solutions, and speciality glassware, has acquired privately owned Bel-Art Products (Bel-Art) for an undisclosed sum.
Headquartered in Wayne, NJ, US, Bel-Art is a global provider of laboratory solutions serving the scientific, industrial, and healthcare end markets. Through this acquisition, Warminster, PA, headquartered SP adds over 3,500 products to its portfolio sold under Bel-Art’s Scienceware and H-B Instrument brands.
Brad Mahood, Chief Operating Officer of Bel-Art, will play a key leadership role in sales, marketing, and product management at the corporate level. Additionally, David Landsberger, President of Bel-Art Products, will join the Board of Directors for SP Industries.
