VWR International to acquire Peqlab Biotechnologie
Adds reagents, consumables and instruments to support the pharma industry to portfolio
VWR International, a US-based global solutions provider of laboratory supplies, equipment and services has agreed to acquire Peqlab Biotechnologie of Germany, including its subsidiaries and operations in the US, UK and Austria and manufacturing operation Clemens in Germany. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval in Germany.
No financial details have been revealed.
Established in 1996 and headquartered in Erlangen, Peqlab develops, manufactures and supplies molecular and cell biology reagents, consumables and instruments to support the education, research, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries and will further enhance VWR's product portfolio.
