VWR buys Integra Companies and STI Components

Expanding its portfolio of single-use connectivity solutions and fluid handling components


US laboratory products provider VWR is expanding its portfolio of products to the life science and biopharmaceutical industries with the acquisition of bioprocessing single-use system integrators, Integra Companies and STI Components.

All financial details about the deals remain confidential.

Integra Companies provides comprehensive single use connectivity solutions including tubing, hoses and gaskets for high-purity environments. It supplies a broad selection products to customers in the biopharmaceutical, food processing, and microelectronic industries in the Northeast US.

Established in 1974 and headquartered in Devens, MA, Integra Companies is ISO9001 Certified and operates two ISO Class 7 cleanrooms.

Acquiring Integra and STI Components will increase our offering of single-use disposable products

STI Components provides high-purity fluid handling components and custom engineered solutions for the biopharmaceutical, food processing, and microelectronic industries in the Southeast US.

Founded in 1987, STI Components' Morrisville, NC location is ISO9001:2008 certified and operates a certified ISO Class 7 cleanroom, manufacturing and assembly area.
