tesa Labtec opens US office

The German company aims to sell its transdermal and topical patches in the biggest pharmaceutical market globally

tesa Labtec, a German manufacturer of patches and oral-films has opened a sales office in Charlotte, North Carolina, US, with the aim of expanding into the world's biggest pharmaceutical market.

The Langenfeld, Germany headquartered company develops and manufactures film-shaped dosage forms (CDMO services) such as transdermal and topical patches as well as buccal or sublingual films. The company's business activities comprise formulation development, scale-up and manufacture of clinical trial supplies or finished products under full cGMP conditions.

tesa Labtec's brands include Transfilm, Rapidfilm and Mucofilm.

Until now tesa Labtec has been offering its services mainly to German and European customers and now intends to break into the US market.
