This will be the 12th Microbiology meeting organised by A3P.

The views of users of RMM detecting viable particles will be presented for environmental controls, monitoring utilities but also for sterility testing of finished products, particularly for liquid products, including 100% control, which seems feasible in the near future.

Promotion of MMR by regulatory and recent developments in their approach to validation authorities will be addressed and discussed during the final round table.

The resistance of micro-organisms to radiation sterilisation processes or disinfection of surfaces by air and the presence of mould in pharmaceutical environments are also topical issues. Finally, the inaugural conference on biofilms will allow delegates to understand their formation and evolution, but also to discuss practical ways to diagnose and get rid of them.
