AM Labels relocates following growth period

A technical experience centre is planned to open at the site in Q3 2022, offering live displays and demonstrations of the company’s product offering

AM Labels Limited has relocated to larger premises to expand its business operations. The premises, located in Northampton, are more than twice the size of the company’s previous facilities. The relocation follows several years of growth for the company’s colour label printer business and increasing demand for in-house label production services, it says.

Larger premises will enable the company to further develop and expand its portfolio, increase operations and boost production capacity for customers. The building is located approximately a mile away from its previous premises, meaning staff can be retained, the company says. AM also plans to increase its workforce to facilitate and support growing demand for its products and services.

The building features increased label production area, as well as extended storage space, enabling the company to hold increased stock for customers. The building also houses an open-plan office area for AM Labels’ sales, marketing, technical support and accounts departments, along with a number of meeting rooms and an open-plan kitchen area for staff downtime.

As part of several investments made at the site, the company plans to open a technical experience centre in the third quarter of 2022, where it will be able to display and demonstrate its entire range of printing, scanning and RFID equipment to be displayed and demonstrated. The company will invite current and prospective customers to visit the centre and trial the products. This will coincide with what the company calls a significant expansion in its product offering.

Brendon Bass, Sales and Marketing Manager, AM Labels Limited said: “The driving force behind our relocation was to enable us to significantly expand our business operations, increase our product offering and provide greater options and convenience for our customers. We have been fortunate enough to have experienced sustained growth in what has been an extremely challenging couple of years for businesses, and we have ambitious plans for future growth in the years to come.

“We are also delighted to announce our plans to open a technical experience centre, which will be used to display and demonstrate our extensive range of label printing and scanning equipment. We look forward to welcoming both current and prospective customers from across the UK when the centre opens later in 2022.”
