Grünenthal PRO, the contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) division of Grünenthal is entering into a non-exclusive partnership with SHL Medical.
The CDMO will offer final assembly, packaging and labelling of the Molly autoinjector in this new collaboration with SHL Medical.
It is aiming to install additional assembly lines in its Origgio facility in Italy in 2026, expanding its capacity for the final assembly of SHL autoinjectors.
These new pre-validated lines for Molly 1.0 and 2.25mL autoinjector platforms will improve speed-to-market for pharma and biotech companies.
Additionally, SHL customers will benefit from access to Grünenthal PRO's established expertise and capacity in delivering high-quality, reliable contract manufacturing services.

Molly is a single-dose autoinjector built on modular platform technology that helps pharma and biotech companies reduce initial investments and accelerate timelines.
The device boasts an excellent track record in combination product approvals and is designed to meet the evolving requirements of future autoinjectors.
