This expansion marks a major milestone in Nemera’s long-term growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to addressing global health challenges such as obesity and type 2 diabetes.
The opening ceremony, held at 3 Tytanowa Street, brought together members of Nemera’s leadership team, the French Consul, local and regional authorities, representatives of the construction partner, neighbouring companies and Nemera employees.
A strategic expansion to meet growing patient needs
The newly inaugurated Hall 2 brings Nemera’s total industrial space in Szczecin to 9115 sqm, significantly increasing its capacity to produce drug delivery devices for GLP-1 and insulin therapies.
Construction is also under way on a third hall, scheduled for completion in autumn 2025, with additional space reserved for future developments.
"This expansion is a testament to our commitment to putting patients first. By increasing our capacity and capabilities, we are better positioned to support our customers and contribute to the fight against obesity and diabetes," said Marc Hämel, CEO of Nemera.
Advanced technology and sustainability at the core
The facility is equipped with advanced injection moulding and assembly machines. Built with eco-friendly solutions, the site has earned international BREEAM certification for its environmental performance and sustainability standards.
"The new project marks a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality drug delivery device solutions while putting patients first."
"With this expansion, Nemera Szczecin is significantly increasing its recruitment efforts, opening new positions in various departments," said Remigiusz Podcaba, Director of Nemera Szczecin.
