Thermo Fisher Scientific has elected Karen S. Lynch to its board of directors.
Karen joins the 12-strong board to offer her industry knowledge and insights, which will help Thermo Fisher to grow its global presence within the life science industry.
Ms Lynch has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcre industry, and has held down many executive positions during her career.
Previously, she was the President and CEO of CVS Health Corporation — a health solutions company who worked with more than 120m consumers to offer healthcare and pharmacy benefits.
Prior to this, Ms Lynch was the Executive VP of CVS Health and the President of both Aetna and Magellan Health Services.
She began her career as a certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young, and has previously served as a board member for both CVS Health and US Bancorp.
