Key Technology appoints John Ehren as president and ceo

Succeeds David Camp who will retain a consultancy role for 12 months

John ‘Jack’ Ehren is to succeed David Camp as president and chief executive of Key Technology, a US designer and manufacturer of process automation systems.

Camp will continue to support the company in a consultancy role over the next year.

Ehren has been with Key Technology since 2008, when he joined the company as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

In 2009, he also served as general manager of Symetix, the company’s pharmaceutical division.

In 2010, he rose to senior vice president of Global Operations, and since 2011, he has been executive vice president as well as chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Before joining Key Technology, Ehren was with Planar Systems, where he held several positions, including vice president of Global Operations and vice president of Finance.
