BASF and Sigma-Aldrich sign excipient distribution agreement

Sigma-Aldrich will offer small pack sizes to researchers at universities and laboratories


BASF SE and Sigma-Aldrich have signed a global distribution agreement for a number of BASF’s pharmaceutical excipients.

Sigma-Aldrich will repackage the products into small pack sizes making them available to the global research and academic community.

The excipients include various grades of binders (Kollidons), coatings (Kollicoats) and solubilisers (Cremophors, Lutrols, Solutol).
