Relmada Therapeutics, a specialist US pharmaceutical company developing therapies for the treatment of chronic pain, has appointed Lisa Nolan as Senior Vice President of Business Development. In this role, she will be responsible for overseeing alliance and business development activities across the company.
Nolan has been in the healthcare business for more than 20 years in multiple functions including business development, strategic planning, marketing and clinical research. Prior to joining Relmada Therapeutics, she was Managing Director of management consultancy firm Nolex Advisors, where she managed business development and licensing projects for a number of public and private companies.
Nolan has also served as Chief Business Officer with Topigen Pharmaceuticals, a Canada-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on respiratory therapeutics, and was instrumental in the sale of the company to Pharmaxis in 2010. Prior to that she was Vice President of Global Business Development and Strategic Marketing for Skyepharma, a speciality pharmaceutical company focused on drug delivery technologies, where she led numerous partnering transactions with US and international companies.
She also held senior positions in business development, strategic planning and marketing management at West Pharmaceutical Services, Elan Corporation and Zeneca Pharmaceuticals.
