Designed for parents with young children, these syringe-like dispensers provide greater accuracy than teaspoons or graduated cups, with less chance of medicine spills as they facilitate direct administration into the child's mouth.
Baxa introduced the Exacta-Med Dispensers in 1975 for use in hospitals to provide a safer alternative for dosing oral liquid medications than a hypodermic syringe.
Each individual Exacta-Med Pack contains one 5 mL Exacta-Med Medicine Dispenser and four different-sized bottle adaptors. Bottle adaptors enable easy dispenser filling without spills or drug waste. In addition, medicine bottles can be recapped without removing the adaptors, giving greater security.
They can be cleaned and reused, offering value beyond safe and accurate dosing. The retail packs are boxed in 10 units in an eye-catching point-of-sale display unit. Individual packs can also be hung on standard pharmacy racks.
