Changes at the top of the European Fine Chemicals Group

Appoints President, Vice President and Sector Group Manager

The Board of the European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG) has appointed Heinz Sieger as President, Roger LaForce as Vice President and Hubert Stueckler as Sector Group Manager.

Sieger is Chairman of CU Chemie Uetikon, Lahr, Germany and he has been a member of the EFCG Board since its inception in 2004. He replaces Brian Murphy of Robinson Brothers Limited, UK as President.

LaForce, CEO of Zach System, Italy, is a past Chairman of the EFCG Pharmaceuticals Business Committee.

Until recently, Stueckler has been President of the Actives Division and Head of Global Operations of Siegfried, Switzerland and was formerly a Senior Executive of DSM in the Netherlands.

Tony Scott will continue in his role as EFCG’s Adviser to support Dr Stueckler until May 2014.

EFCG is a non-profit international sector group within Cefic, the Brussels-based European Chemical Industry Council, which represents 29,000 companies producing 20% of the world’s chemicals and employing 1.1 million people and contributing €539bn to the EU economy.
