Domino is bringing Falsified Medicines Directive expertise to Ireland through a joint conference with Domino distributor Codico.

Delegates will be able to learn about the requirements of the impending EU legislation - which seeks to protect all high risk prescription medicines - as well as gain practical advice on how best to overcome the hidden challenges of implementing serialisation schemes and also the potential benefits that item-level serialisation can bring.

The conference will be led by pharmaceutical industry experts including Siobhian Duggan, business development director at GS1 Ireland, Feargal McGroaty, project manager at St James Hospital Dublin, Ian Haynes of 3C Integrity and previously Astra Zeneca, and Joan Cahill, director, packaging operational support at Pfizer and EFPIA representative.
