ISC&P names executive vice president

John Cox will develop new business

John Cox has become executive vice president of International Specialty Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals (ISC&P).

Cox takes responsibility for the development of new business in existing ISC&P product lines and new markets. As a specialist in the sourcing of fine and specialty chemicals, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), veterinary ingredients and organically certified extracts, ISC&P currently provides product and technological solutions to the pharmaceutical, coatings and energetic chemistry industries.

ISC&P, headquartered in Tarrytown, New York, recently launched a pharmaceutical division dedicated to formulation development, clinical trial manufacturing, dossier licensing and bio-availability/bio-equivalence studies.

Cox was previously employed at Charkit Chemical Corporation, where he was executive vice president. He managed Charkit’s business development and marketing efforts for 23 years across multiple industries including the pharmaceutical, water treatment, hydrazine, electronic, oil field, automotive restraint device, energetic chemistry and metal finishing sectors.
