New automated tissue dissociation systems

Introducing the new Singulator series (100 and 200)

S2 Genomics and its exclusive distributor for Germany and Austria, Dunn Labortechnik, present the new Singulator Systems.

The bench-top Singulator System and its single-use cartridges enable reproducible, rapid and hands-off tissue dissociations into single cell or nuclei suspensions. Researchers can now easily obtain suspensions of nuclei or high-viability cells for a wide range of single cell analyses, from as little as 1 mg of solid tissues.

The “Singulator” is ideal for genomics, cell biology and other omics applications, including scRNA-Seq, snRNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, CITE-Seq, FACS, and immuno-oncology. S2 Genomics provides a selection of pre-set protocols and pre-formulated reagents for cell isolations from an expanding set of mouse, rat, and human tissues, including tumors.

With the intuitive software the user can choose from a selection of pre-set protocols and pre-formulated reagents. The “Singulator” offers you the possibility to create your own protocols with customisable parameters, including mincing, enzyme incubation time, temperature, mixing and mechanical disruption profiles, and, optionally, you can use your own reagents.

With the fast-processing “Singulator 100 and 200” users can achieve a high yield with high viability (70 - 95%), and reproducible results.

The "Singulator 100" is the smaller version for a lower throughput with one working station, one cartridge and one assay position, whereas the "Singulator 200" has two of them and each station can be operated with different samples and protocols.

The “Singulator” offers protocols including heating and cooling steps (37 °C, room temperature, or 6 °C) to process the samples. Cold dissociation minimises the expression of stress-related genes during cell isolations and helps preserve RNA quality when isolating nuclei.
