Cherwell Laboratories goes paper-free on Redipor products

Product labelling change reduces risk of particulate contamination

Cherwell Laboratories, specialist in the manufacture of prepared microbiological media and supply of environmental monitoring instrumentation for pharmaceutical and related industries, has introduced paper-free labelling on all its Redipor products.

All prepared media product labelling has now been migrated from paper to gloss white polypropylene labels to reduce the risk of particulate contamination in sterile environments, such as cleanrooms and isolators, where Cherwell’s products are frequently used.

Cherwell has completed this labelling change on its entire Redipor microbiological media range as part of its continuous product development programme and in response to customer requests for paper-free materials. The Redipor range of prepared microbiological media products includes Petri dishes, contact plates and gamma irradiated media, as well as bottled broths, diluents and infusion bags.
