Volker Woermann will leave Oystar Automation + Foerdertechnik (A+F) in pursuit of new opportunities at the end of this year. As a result, Christoph Giese has been managing the company since October 2009.
Giese has many years of experience in international management in the mechanical engineering industry. After the sale of Advanced Turbine Components/US from the ThyssenKrupp Group he was most recently responsible as president and general manager for integrating the company into the Leistritz Group. Prior to that he held various international management positions at Koerber for more than ten years.
Giese's main task will initially be to redefine the product portfolio at Oystar A+F as well as to develop the company's international sales and marketing.
