Copley 2024: the webinar series on OINDP testing

Published: 29-Jan-2024

Begins on the 28th February 2024 and offers valuable insights for researchers and analysts looking to improve orally inhaled and nasal drug product (OINDP) testing practice

Building on the success of previous years’ events, the complementary webinars underline Copley’s commitment to supporting customers – whether novice or experienced – with exceptional training.

Register here to secure a place on the first session – ‘An Introduction to Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) Testing’ – and sign up to our mailing list to be kept informed as new dates are released.

“We’re keenly aware of a growing need for training as use of the intranasal and pulmonary drug delivery routes increases,” states Jamie Clayton, Managing Director, Copley. “Our previous webinars were highly valued by attendees so we’re delighted to extend this new opportunity for participation. Our in-house experts have been working hard to ensure that the latest topics are comprehensively covered.”

The new webinar series will run throughout 2024 covering a scheduled list of themes that includes:

  • Specific test requirements for MDIs, dry powder inhalers (DPIs), nebulisers and nasal drug products.
• Methods for improving in vitro-in vivo correlations to maximise the utility of lab-based testing
  • Strategies for reducing variability to enhance the integrity of test data
  • How to streamline data management and produce the metrics required for OINDP characterisation with minimal effort

Webinars will cover the measurement of critical quality attributes – delivered dose uniformity (DDU) and aerodynamic particle size distribution (APSD) – for different OINDP products, and the respective regulatory requirements.

They will also focus on the practicalities of testing, including how to implement robust, reliable, and productive workflows.
“Whether you’re new to inhaler testing, looking to brush up on the basics, or wanting an update on the latest developments in testing practice, these webinars are worth setting aside time for,” said Clayton. “We hope you’ll join us.”
