ABB appoints sales manager for southern UK region

Will drive use of automation systems in smaller applications

ABB has appointed Kamran Farooq as sales manager for its open control system products. With responsibility for the southern UK region, Farooq will concentrate on developing ABB’s business and help drive the use of automation systems in smaller applications.

Prior to joining ABB, Farooq sold automation and control products for Rockwell. He has a degree in electronic engineering and an MA in optoelectronics and spent eight years in the semiconductor industry, before moving into automation software sales.
