Abzena, a partner research organisation (PRO), has promoted Troy Wright to Senior VP and Global Head of Quality. Reporting to Jonathan Goldman, CEO, Wright will be accountable for the company’s quality assurance and compliance systems, audits and inspections, and day to day quality control operations across its locations in the UK and USA.
Wright joined Abzena in August 2021 as Quality Site Head, North Carolina. He has experience building teams and quality systems within the biopharmaceutical industry and is skilled in external manufacturing quality and operations. Prior to Abzena, Wright worked for Amgen for 21 years in positions of increasing responsibility, including Quality Site Head for Chief of Staff for Worldwide Quality, and most recently Quality Operations Team Lead at the bulk drug substance plant in Rhode Island.
