Aesica, a contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), has appointed Baali Muganga as East Coast US Business Development Manager.
Central to the new role is responsibility for expanding the share of the company’s East Coast North American contract development and manufacturing market in pharmaceuticals.
Muganga brings more than five years of experience gained across the life sciences industry to the new role. Recently, she was Associate Alliance Manager with Reata Pharmaceuticals, a Dallas-based biopharmaceutical company. Prior to this, she worked at AstraZeneca and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Muganga will be responsible for targeting small- to medium-sized life science and pharmaceutical companies requiring product development and manufacturing support.
Aesica has also hired Julius Lodato as Aesica LLC’s Director of Finance and Administration to support the expanding US office.
