Almac Pharma Services recommends SADE SP440 Weight Sorter

New SP440 will be used in R&D applications for weight sorting both tablets and capsules, where batch sizes can vary from 1,000 to 250,000

In February 2015 Almac Pharma Services in Craigavon Northern Ireland took delivery of a SADE SP440 tablet and capsule weight sorter from CI Precision.

Stephen Gallagher, Process Development Manager at Almac Pharma Services, states that Almac’s new SP440 will be used in R&D applications for weight sorting both tablets and capsules, where batch sizes can vary from 1,000 – 250,000.

 

On being asked whether he would recommend SADE SP440 weight sorters, Stephen Gallagher replies: 'Yes – because they are reliable and suitable for our applications'. He adds, 'SADE equipment is used by our Clinical Services Division. They recommended CI Precision. We now have SP100/140/440 sorters in Pharma Services.'

Regarding support from CI Precision, from sales enquiry to installation, training and after sales support, he comments that it is 'excellent from start to finish'.

To complement the SADE SP440 unit, Almac Pharma Services also purchased from CI Precision the Validation Support Documentation, Full Spares Pack and SP Connect Software licence.
