Maurizio Denaro has become General Manager of the Aptuit Centre for Discovery and Development in Verona, Italy.
Denaro’s career has included corporate and R&D leadership roles at global life science companies in Europe and the US, including Bracco Imaging, where he was responsible for the ultrasound business unit, Marion Merrell Dow, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Hoechst Marion Roussel.
In accepting this position, Denaro said: ‘In only three years, Aptuit's drug discovery and development site in Verona has become a very valuable resource for life sciences companies around the world. It is my objective to maintain the steady progress that has been made to date while also initiating further growth through scientific excellence and a commitment to industry-leading service.’
