Features a compact design and lockable castors

The Mediline CodeCollect is Atlantic Zeiser's new solution for manual aggregation from individual pharmaceutical packages to cases and pallets. Its Medtracker compatible interface ensures audit-proof forwarding and storage as well as plausibility checks with data from upstream coding processes.

The product is also equipped for manual reworks of cases and pallets after disturbances on automatic lines, and also for workflows performed in the shipping warehouse.

In view of the physical demands of operators of manual aggregation, Atlantic Zeiser has applied rigorous design criteria to the equipment to satisfy strict ergonomic requirements and facilitate efficient, fatigue-free operation. The electrically height-adjustable, tilting workbench, for instance, allows cases to be loaded with single items without exerting any strain on the back, and prevents tilting over of small packages.

Owing to its compact size, Mediline CodeCollect can easily be incorporated into existing production processes. Thanks to integrated casters, the manual station can quickly be relocated for use at other packaging lines.

The product is a full-spec solution comprising a code scanning camera for cases with up to three layers of single items, two wireless hand-held scanners with long-life lithium-ion batteries, as well as two maintenance-free, high-speed label printers for case and pallet labels. For case transport and use as a buffer en route to the pallet, a height-adjustable, extendible roller conveyor is available as an option.
